
Assistant Apartment Manager
Spinnaker Property Management is seeking to fill the position of Assistant Apartment Manager. This position is responsible for maintaining the condition of the 132 unit community and for coordinating and preparing move-ins. The community is located in Lakewood and requires employee to live on-site for the ability to serve on-call for community emergencies. A high school diploma and a minimum of two years previous experience in residential customer service or sales environment is required.
Essential Job Functions:
- Responsible for assisting the Apartment Manager in maintaining the physical asset and maximizing the financial returns from that asset in accordance with the company’s objectives while promoting the company’s professional standards of quality.
- Assists the Apartment Manager and supervisors with special tasks and projects.
- Assists in assuring staff compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Assists in assuring staff performance of duties on a timely basis.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing and Leasing - to include showings, screening and selecting qualified applicants, processing rental applications, and regular reporting.
- Resident Relations including responding to inquiries and complaints, supervise move-in/move-out procedures, and resident retention programs.
- Maintain Physical Asset to include scheduling and follow-up of maintenance work, regular inspections and make-ready procedures.
- Administration, financial reporting and control as directed by Apartment Manager.
- Must hold a valid Washington State driver’s license.
Physical Demands - While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and taste or smell. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
Work Environment - While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works in outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
